Pic. 1.59. Light sensor location: 1 - sensor
The light sensor also functions as a rain sensor in the automatic wiper control system (pic. 1.59). If the windshield wiper lever is set to the «AUTO» (auto mode) and the ignition is on (ignition switch is in position «ON»), then the wiper control is automatic. Be careful not to pinch your hand or fingers as this could result in injury or damage to the wiper.
If the central light switch is in the position «AUTO», then when the ignition switch is turned to the position «ACC» (auxiliary consumers of electricity) or «LOCK» (blocking) headlights, other ambient lights and control panel illumination will be turned off. It is possible to increase the turn-on delay for headlights, other ambient lights, and control panel illumination as the ambient light level decreases by adjusting the sensor sensitivity.
Attention! Do not cover the light sensor with anything (do not stick a film or labels on the windshield in the area of the sensor). Otherwise, the sensor will not work properly.
