Pic. 1.63. Scheme of operation of the turn signal control lever
Push the lever down (when turning left) or up (when turning right) to a fixed position (pic. 1.63). The lever will automatically return to its original position and the turn signals will turn off when the vehicle exits the corner. If the direction indicators continue to flash after completing the turn, return the lever to its original position forcibly. The flashing of the direction indicators is accompanied by the flashing of the corresponding green indicators on the instrument panel.
Lane change signal
Lightly press the lever in accordance with the direction of the manoeuvre (without bringing the lever to a fixed position), to turn on the turn signals. Keep the lever pressed while changing lanes. When released, the lever will automatically return to its original position and the turn signals will turn off.
If the indicator is constantly on (does not blink) or flashes at an increased frequency, one of the direction indicator bulbs may have burned out.
