Disabling the Range Lever Lockout

If the range selector lever cannot be moved out of position «R» (parking) in the usual way, while holding the brake pedal depressed, do the following:

• use a screwdriver to remove the plug of the lock switch;
• insert a screwdriver into the recess and press the screwdriver down (pic. 1.158);
• move the range selector lever.
