Power steering

The power steering can only function when the engine is running. If the engine is off or the power steering system is malfunctioning, you can still steer the vehicle, however, this will require more physical effort.

If the steering force increases while driving under normal conditions, have your Mazda Dealer check the steering system.

Attention! When the engine is running, do not hold the steering wheel on the stop in the extreme position for more than 5 s. This can damage the power steering.
