Oil pump — general information

The oil pump is installed in the front cover of the engine. The crankshaft drives the inner rotor by the oil pump chain and sprocket. An efficient and compact oil pump with 5 teeth on the outer gear and 6 teeth on the inner gear is used. The gears have a trochoidal mesh. The pump consists of internal and external rotors, pressure reducing valve and housing.

Attention! The oil pump is non-separable. If the oil pump is faulty, replace it as an assembly.
