Start the engine and let it run at idle.
With the clutch pedal not depressed, slowly engage reverse gear.
Lock the shift lever in the position where the gears engage.
Slowly depress the clutch pedal.
Stop the clutch pedal when the noise of the gears stops (clutch release position).
Measure distance A (distance from clutch disengagement position to fully depressed pedal position) and clutch pedal travel.

Make sure distance A and clutch pedal travel are within specifications (pic. 3.5).
- Distance «A»: 20 mm.
- Pedal travel: 140 mm.
