Removing
Attention: Release the pressure in the brake system by depressing the brake pedal at least 20 times.
Remove brake drum.
Clamp the brake hose with suitable clamps. Take care not to damage the brake hose with the sharp edges of the clip.
Pull the brake pads apart at the top (4), so that the brake cylinder is free, and using the adjusting device, fix the shoes in this position.
Loosen the two fixing screws (arrows) mounting the brake cylinder on the rear side of the brake plate.
Unscrew the brake cylinder from the brake hose.
Installation
Screw a new wheel brake cylinder with a new O-ring onto the brake hose.
Install the wheel brake cylinder on the brake plate and secure with bolts. Ensure that the hose is not kinked or stretched.
Remove clamp from hose.
Press the ratchet lever of the adjusting device with a screwdriver, setting the brake pads to their original position.
Install the brake drum.
Remove air from the brake system. In this case, it is enough to remove air from the wheel brake cylinder from which the brake pipeline was disconnected. If after bleeding the brake pedal is elastic, then remove the air from the entire brake system.
Press the brake pedal several times to adjust the parking brake.
