In the event of a malfunction, you must first check the fuse in the fuse box.
If the fuse is in order, then you need to check the tightness of the wire plugs on the right and left on the rear window and, if necessary, clean the connections from corrosion.
If the heated rear window still does not work.
1. Damaged wire; 2. Adhesive tape; 3. Repair area.
If the filaments are damaged, then a special conductive silver paste must be used to restore the connection. Clean the area to be repaired with solvent or alcohol.
Cover the damaged area with adhesive tape and apply the paste with a thin brush.
The paste dries in about 24 hours at 25°C. You can speed up the drying process by heating the repair site with a hair dryer. At +150°C, the paste dries in about 30 minutes.
Attention: Do not turn on the heated rear window until the paste is completely dry. Do not use gasoline or other mineral solvents to clean damaged parts.
