Diagnostics of malfunctions of system of injection of gasoline
The following prerequisites must be met before fault diagnosis is carried out: Eliminate errors when starting the engine. For both cold and warm engines, the following rule applies: before starting and during starting, do not «gas». On a hot engine, after starting it, it may be necessary to give a little «gas».
Fuel must be in the tank, the engine must be mechanically in order, the battery must be charged, the starter must be cranking the engine at the correct speed, the ignition system must be in order, there must be no leaks or contamination in the fuel system, the crankcase ventilation system must be OK, there must be an electrical connection according to «mass» between the engine, gearbox and body. Interrogate the diagnostic device in the engine control unit (In workshop).
Attention: The fuel system is under pressure. When fuel lines are disconnected, fuel may squirt out. To collect it, put a rag. Clean the fuel line connections before disconnecting.
