Install the engine support holder on the cylinder block and tighten the bolts to 55 Nm.
Reinforce the right engine mount with new nuts, tightening them to 70 Nm.
Unhook the lift or remove the jack from under the engine.
Install anti-jump safety device (1) and tighten its bolt to 10 Nm. О Tighten the toothed belt. To do this, pull the drill out of the tensioner, and then loosen the clamp. This will tension the toothed belt correctly.
Put on the washer (2) and install the lower toothed belt cover (3), by tightening the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm. О While holding the vibration damper with a suitable wrench, fit it onto the crankshaft using the special tool. In this case, a thread for the mounting bolt is used.
Attention! The vibration damper must not be attracted by the fastening bolt, i.e. the specified tightening torque is not reached.
Tighten new vibration damper central bolt to 40 Nm. Finally tighten the bolt by 90°with a rigid wrench. To accurately determine the angle, you can use a paper template or goniometer.
Set the engine to the TDC position of the first cylinder:
- Both camshaft sprockets must be movable on the camshafts.
- The adjustment ruler must be in the grooves of the camshafts.
- At the height of the crankshaft is a stub bolt in the cylinder block. Unscrew the bolt.
- Insert the TDC adjusting pin in place of the blind bolt. This adjustment pin can be made by yourself.
- If the pin cannot be screwed in, turn the crankshaft slightly to the left by the vibration damper.
- Turn the crankshaft at the vibration damper clockwise until the cheek (counterweight) will not hit the adjusting pin. The crankshaft cannot be turned any further.
- With the engine in this position, tighten the bolts of both camshaft sprockets to 60 Nm while holding the sprockets with a special wrench.
Attention: When tightening, remove the adjusting ruler.
Attention: Unscrew the adjusting pin for TDC position from the crankshaft.
Turn the crankshaft two turns clockwise to TDC and check the valve timing again. To do this, screw the adjusting pin for the TDC position into the hole and turn the crankshaft until it rests against this pin. In this position, the adjusting ruler must be inserted into the camshafts. Otherwise, loosen the camshaft sprockets and repeat the adjustment.
Screw the blind bolt into the cylinder block and tighten to 25 Nm.
Lower the car.
Install the upper toothed belt cover.
Tighten the V-belt pulley bolt to 25 Nm.
Install the pulley on the water pump and tighten the four bolts of its fastening to 25 Nm.
Install the valve cover, tighten its four nuts to 10 Nm.
Attention: The valve cover gasket must not be replaced separately, but if damaged, replace the valve cover together with the gasket.
Install spark plugs and shroud.
Install poly V-belt.
Connect the negative cable to the battery. Set the clock and enter all the necessary codes.
