2. Remove the refrigerant from the system.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Loosen the compressor mounting bolts and slide it.
Attention:
- Plug the open ends of the tubing immediately to avoid contamination of the system.
- Avoid spilling compressor oil. Running the compressor without sufficient compressor oil will produce abnormal noise and may cause the compressor to seize.
5. Remove the compressor in the sequence of numbers shown in the figure.
1 - high pressure line hose,
2 - low pressure line hoses,
3 - compressor electromagnetic clutch connector,
4 - air conditioning compressor.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
7. Adjust the A/C compressor and power steering pump drive belt (see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures").
8. Follow the steps described in subsection "Checking the efficiency of the refrigerant circulation system".
Note: when installing a new compressor, add 180 ml of compressor oil (oil from the old compressor and 15 ml of new oil).
