Attention: never remove the radiator cap while the engine is running or when the radiator is still hot. Hot coolant and its vapors can cause burns and damage the engine.
1. Remove the radiator cap. Using a special adapter, connect the radiator cap tester to the cap.
2. Gradually build up pressure.
3. Make sure that the pressure has stabilized within the allowable range and is held for 10 seconds.
- Pressure - 93 - 123 kPa
4. If the pressure holds for 10 seconds, the radiator cap is OK. Replace cover if necessary.
