Attention: before carrying out the procedure, make sure that the engine is cool.
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Drain the coolant (see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures").
3. Remove the fuel accumulator.
4. Remove the coolant temperature sensor by disconnecting the connector.
5. Check the coolant temperature sensor.
A) Immerse the sensor element in water.
b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the coolant temperature sensor. To do this, connect an ohmmeter to the terminals "A - B" sensor.

If the resistance value is out of range, replace the sensor.
6. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: When installing the sensor, replace the seal.
