Attention: do not disassemble or repair the injection pump yourself. Repair of high pressure fuel pump should be carried out only in specialized service centers "Bosch", with the necessary equipment.
Note:
- After removing the high pressure fuel pipes, keep them free of dirt and foreign material. When installing fuel pipes, tighten their fastening nuts to the specified torque.
- Remove and install parts strictly in the sequence below to avoid fuel leaks.
- The number of times that high pressure fuel lines can be reused without loss of reliability is limited. It is only allowed to re-install the old high-pressure pipes five times after they have been removed. After the sixth removal of the high pressure tubes, they must be replaced.
- When connecting the fuel hoses, refer to the figure "Location of fuel system components in the engine compartment. Do not interchange fuel supply and fuel return hoses.
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Follow the procedures in section "Before repair work".
3. Remove the battery and battery tray.
Removal and installation of the high pressure fuel pump.
1 - fuel pressure pipes,
2 - fuel accumulator,
3 - fuel hoses,
4 - connector,
5 - timing belt cover,
6 - injection pump.
4. Set the fuel filter assembly aside so that it does not interfere with further operations.
5. Remove the parts in the order they are numbered in the figure "Removal and installation of the high pressure fuel pump".
1 - bolt with fuel filter (P/N -WE01-13-VH1),
2 - outlet pipe of injection pump,
3 - gaskets (P/N - WE01-13-VH9),
4 - key,
5 - sealing ring (P/N - WE01-13-V72).
6. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
7. Follow the procedures in section "After the repair work".
8. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
Note on removing high pressure fuel pipes (from the side of the injectors)
1. Secure the nozzle nozzle from rotation,
2. Loosen the union nut of the high pressure fuel pipe, being careful not to twist the injector fitting.
Attention: do not allow the nozzle nozzle to rotate. This can lead to future fuel leaks.
Note on removing the injection pump pulley
1. Remove the two bolts securing the injection pump pulley,
2. Turn away a nut of fastening of a pulley of TNVD.
3. Remove the injection pump pulley using a special tool.
