Note: When bleeding the clutch fluid, keep the fluid level at 3/4 reservoir or more.
- Recommended Fluid Type - SAE J1703, FMVSS 116 DOT-3
1. Remove the cap from the bleeder port and connect a vinyl hose to the bleeder port.
2. Lower the other end of the hose into a special container to collect the working fluid.
3. Have an assistant depress the clutch pedal three or four times and keep the pedal depressed.
4. With the clutch pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder plug and allow the working fluid to drain.
5. Tighten the bleed screw.
- Tightening torque - 6-9 Nm
6. Repeat the procedures p.p. 3-5 until no more air bubbles appear in the escaping liquid.
7. After pumping, carry out the following checks:
- make sure the clutch works properly;
- check the system for leaks;
- check the fluid level in the reservoir.
Add new working fluid up to the mark "MAX".
