Cardan shaft — check

1. Check all parts, repair or replace if necessary.

2. Using a dial gauge, measure the cardan shaft radial runout.

• Maximum runout - 0.4 mm

If the runout is greater than the maximum, replace the propeller shaft assembly.

3. Moving the movable joints in the directions indicated by the arrow, make sure that there is no significant play in the joints.

If significant play or excessive torque is found, replace the propeller shaft assembly.

• Tightening torque - 0.26 - 1.76 Nm
